Is North Korea really interested in peace?

Bear with…the story so far: The North develop nuclear weapons capability whilst doing lots of sabre rattling. This gives them a nuclear platform but they avoid going too far and getting nuked by moron Trump. They then go all gooey eyed over peace and want to negotiate a settlement.

The future story – the settlement is never reached because they’ll ask for something unobtainable like the rest of the world going nuke free. After a few years of negotiations everyone walks away without a settlement, the rest of the world has forgotten the original tensions over the north having Nukes. Trump, Moon, Macron, May etc are all out of office so have no face to save and the North’s nuclear status just becomes part of the status quo. We all move on to the next crisis. Kim Jong-un is now a stable nuclear dictator. Job done.
